Tammy is an empathetic counsellor who deeply engages with her clients during sessions, ensuring they feel understood and supported.
After years of pursuing success in corporate communications within the finance sector, collaborating with high achievers, Tammy discovered that true peace and happiness reside within, grounded in loving relationships and meaningful connections. This realization prompted a transformative shift that fuelled her dedication to supporting others on their journeys.
Having studied and worked in Hong Kong, France, and the United States, Tammy appreciates diverse cultures and connects with people from various backgrounds. She has worked with individuals facing a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, trauma, and grief. She has also supported children and families, including those from underprivileged backgrounds, in navigating emotional struggles, improving relationships, and enhancing self-esteem.
Tammy is committed to establishing a safe and trusted environment for clients to share their emotions, thoughts, and needs. Through the therapeutic process, clients are empowered to access their strengths, bolster resilience, and develop new perspectives on their challenges and personal growth.
Tailoring her sessions to suit individual needs, Tammy utilizes a range of therapeutic approaches, including Person-Centred Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, the Satir Model, Child-Centred Play Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques.
Tammy conducts therapy in Cantonese and English, and is conversational in Mandarin and French.
