Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (USA)
Graduate Member, Hong Kong Psychological Society

Stephanie is an open-minded and non-judgemental counsellor who has helped people navigate specific problems (including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD and relationship challenges) as well as broader issues (such as self-worth, family, gender, and career or life transitions). She works with adults and teenagers.
Prior to counselling, Stephanie was trained as a medical doctor. She understands the ways that physical and psychological health are interconnected. She has helped clients address a range of these challenges in therapy, including chronic or terminal illness, autoimmune or endocrine disorders, infertility, sexual health, and grief or loss.
Stephanie is a good match for clients who want counselling that is both empathetic and evidence-based. She primarily uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), drawing on empirical research to inform her practice. She also integrates techniques from person-centred and narrative therapy.
Above all else, Stephanie looks for clients with whom she can have a natural and collaborative relationship. She knows that finding the right therapist is different for everyone, and that this is the most important factor in achieving positive outcomes.
Stephanie believes that identifying unhelpful patterns is the first step towards change. Her goal is to help people uncover these patterns, openly and without shame, in order to live a meaningful and values-driven life.
Stephanie conducts therapy in English, and has conversational proficiency in Cantonese.
