Margaret had over 20 years of experience in fund management and corporate governance and held senior positions in multinational corporations.  She retrained in counselling and completed the Master of Counselling with Monash University in Australia.  She is a member of the Australian Counselling Association, and is undergoing a professional certificate programme on Sexuality Education.

Margaret encourages clients to express their genuine emotions and looks to establish rapport and trust in a safe space.  She is committed to helping and supporting individuals, couples and families with different relational and emotional issues.  She has worked with clients on managing issues relating to stress and anxiety, trauma recovery, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, grief and loss, parenting, life transitions, and in realising personal identity and strength. She uses a client-centred approach and utilises Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and positive psychology.  With her business/governance background, Margaret is well placed to assist clients in managing various challenges in the work place and in career planning.

Her interests include music and art appreciation.  A keen and enthusiastic singer, Margaret gave live and recorded performances with various groups, both as a chorus member and a soloist, in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and New York.

Margaret conducts therapy in English and Cantonese.
