Cindy offers an inclusive, trusting therapeutic relationship built on compassion, empathy, and acceptance. She believes in a client-centred and holistic approach to wellness meeting each client where they are, and journeying collaboratively toward where they want to be. Her therapeutic approach is integrative drawing on techniques from Person-Centred Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Strengths-Based, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Narrative Exposure Therapy to best fit each client’s needs and goals. Cindy works collaboratively to support her clients and encourages them to stay open and honest with her about their preferences and feedback, because finding the right fit with a counsellor matters.
Prior to training as a psychotherapist, Cindy held a long career in marketing, brand, and customer strategy. Her personal and professional journey has taken her across Taiwan, the U.S., Canada and Japan, before moving to Hong Kong in 2024, giving Cindy a firsthand understanding of the pressures of navigating work life, cultural transitions, and the identity questions that arise at different life stages.
Cindy conducts therapy in English and is conversational in Mandarin.
