Angela is compassionate, patient and empathetic, supporting clients to increase their self- awareness and gain new perspectives to facilitate change and growth. Clients are empowered to utilise their internal resources to become their most resilient self to face current and future adversities.
Ensuring a non-judgmental safe space, clients are invited to share their narrative, process painful events and life experiences. To meet each individual’s unique needs, Angela uses an integrative approach with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, Somatic Experiencing and Mindfulness strategies.
Angela was born and raised in the UK, moving to Hong Kong over 12 years ago where she has raised her family. Prior to counselling, Angela worked for numerous years within the pharmaceutical and educational sectors. She has helped clients in private practice and not-for- profit organisations with a range of issues including anxiety, anger management, cultural identity, depression, grief and bereavement, stress and relationship difficulties.
