Sandy Sinn

Sandy Sinn is a safeTALK and ASIST trainer at St. John’s Cathedral Counselling Service. Born and raised in Hong Kong and educated in the UK, US, and Australia, Sandy was the first to deliver safeTALK and ASIST suicide intervention training in Vietnam and continues to travel globally to provide these internationally recognized and evidence-based trainingworkshops. Through Sandy’s expertise, SJCCS now offers these trainings to schools, universities, corporate organizations, and community groups in Hong Kong. These empowering programs enable anyone—not just professionals—to recognize warning signs of suicide, initiate life-saving conversations, and confidently connect individuals with professional help. Sandy is passionately driven to make Hong Kong a model of suicide safer communities; her goal is to ensure every individual, every school and university campus, and every community is equipped to notice, act, and support those at risk, forging an unbreakable network of safety across the city. Her culturally attuned trainings are available in both English and Cantonese.
